I have been a follower of the WNBA since the 2003 season. I first watched the WNBA by accident (at first I thought it was a Pistons game), but that's all I needed to start my love for the league. People can bias the women's game, but the women of the WNBA can play really well. The league's best moments range from the Sacramento Monarchs giving the city's first professional sports title, Detroit's worst-in-league last season to best-in-league and champions the following season, Teresa Weatherspoon's half-court game winner or the WNBA's version of "The Shot" in front of 16,285 at Compaq Center in Houston (which is also capacity for NBA games), the Los Angeles Sparks comeback in 2007 vs. Sacramento (LA was down 19 to start the 4th quarter, came back to tie at the end of regulation, and capture the win in double overtime), or the Comets Dynasty of 4 straight titles. The video highlights clips from the 2005-2007 season with some clips from seasons prior to 2005. My video includes half-court shots, buzzer beaters, clutch shots, game winners, blocks, and other highlights worth watching. Clips courtesy of WNBA.com

  • its true, women are just physically inferior to men

  • So.... women shouldn't be playing sports because of their physical inferiority?

  • So it would be funny to watch men fail at what women can do? Such as team balance? Think about it. A majority of the NBA teams have one player to concentrate on, it's really giving a middle finger to other players.

  • Man I think Im not even a big fan of watching wnba like that, but T spoon shot was top 5 best shot in sports period..The implications of that shot alone make it in the top 5. Game 2 down 2 win or go home 2.4 seconds..confetti already coming down for the comets..fans going crazy and then she silences the whole crowd, the confetti was a waste and she forced game three. If they had won the chip that would be top 3 in sports history.

  • @chubzapolooza93 sometimes yes. but we both know not everybody follow the rules

  • 3:23 chase down SMH

  • @MaebySurelyBarely You're not the only one! Even to this day, I still feel bedazzled after seeing the unbelievable shot Teresa sunk from halfcourt. HS9, I laud you for finding it!

  • 6:57 -- that made watching the WNBA so worth it. love t-spoon.

  • The weatherspoon shot is the only WNBA moment in the history of the league I'll never forget. A half court shot at the buzzer to win a Finals game. To this day it has never happened in the NBA. If the 3 point line had existed in 1970, Jerry West would have done it but his halfcourt shot only tied the game, and the Lakers still lost in overtime.

  • this nigga aint impressed

  • That teresa weatherspoon shot is one of the best buzzer beaters you will ever see....

  • @chubzapolooza93
