This is a clip from a documentary that aired in the late 1990's and may prove helpful to people who don't really understand where the car originated from. The documentary leaves out some key milestones, like the first 3-wheeled Diamler of the late 1800's, but is accurate overall. There's also a section on horse and carriage traffic and the start of the used car business.
so is that how they start cars back in the 1900's.. start the car like a lawn mower.

Now cars are all being build by Robots with parts that are being shipped in from overseas, while what USED to be the American Autoworker is standing in the welfare or unemployment lines!
