Holding an Angel

Emily Nevaeh Cote was given her wings on 3/24/09. She was silently born with no heart beat due to her umbilical cord becoming hyperspired, cutting off her oxygen and blood flow (which can be seen in an ultrasound) and the doctors failing to see the warning signs. She is our shinning star. We miss her and love her forever. Even though she was here for such a short time her footprints have marked this world forever. My husband and I are trying to start a non profit organization. Its called S.T.A.R.S (standing together and recognising stillbirth) its in memory of Emily and is going to be to help people effected by stillbirth beable to deal with it emotional and finacally (funeral and headstone costs) and to make people more aware of how big of a loss this is and how much the medical community needs to pay closser attention to the signs. When as many babies are dieing each year to the same amount of breast cancer patients we know there is a lack of knowledge and lack of prevention some where. with thanks to Melinda Butler from melinda butler photography and NILMDTS.org we are able to share this video with the world.We miss you baby.
