The folks at Alcatel have lent us this new Android 2.2 phone to check out - its the One Touch Blaze 990 and we give you a nice hardware tour of the phone and a quick look of the custom Android 2.2 interface.

  • if u want to save ur battery life CHOOSE GSM MODE and save it.but if u are save a 3g Or Gsm .battery Will Drain fast.

  • @maxpain0019 Its probably locked by your operator there in Serbia. Not sure if they changed the design there, but hopefully you can find something like a Capdase case there for your phone.

  • @theTechnoclast i'm from serbia and i bought this phone with operator logo on it, because i couldn't find original alcatel, only branded. and my case is ugly as hell and i want to change it. i can't find any case on e-bay.

  • @maxpain0019 The phone is being sold in various colors including this one. There is no added red case in this one. Hope that helps!

  • please please please tell me where i can find this red case for this phone (black will be good too) :)

  • @gparaskevis You should be able to use video calling apps like Skype, but we're not sure if the front facing camera is supported now. Skype recently got updated to allow for more phones to use their front cameras but since we're not able to test it on the phone anymore we can't confirm. It's very likely that you can use it though.
