I think what can safely be said is that the Radiohead we know today is still the Radiohead from back then. They outlasted Muse in my opinion, because Muse changed themselves to become popular, Radiohead just kept doing what they wanted to do, with fucking intelligent music. I rest my case.

I'm quite annoyed with myself...have been aware of Radiohead for the last 15yrs and The Bends has always been one of my favourite albums but for some reason I never 'got' the rest of the stuff. I just did. Dammit, I wasted 15yrs of not listening to this absolute brilliance.

@Daavoid For beginner's ears, they sound the same. For those who listen Radiohead and Muse since 15 years ago, like me, they are very very different.

Why is there this big fuss between muse and radiohead, i couldnt choose between the two, they dont even sound the same? id say radiohead alot more experimental, and muse are more of a rock band... none of us can say somethings better than something else cause all music has an audience somewhere , its just a matter of opinion, anyone who compares the two are just being ignorant,

Muse sound nothing like Radiohead, Radiohead sound nothing like Muse. They are both great bands with their own unique talents. Now everyone quit arguing and enjoy the music.
