Alex took me on a caving adventure in Arroyo Tapiado! We had a great time. The weather outside was about 100 degrees, but once you're in a cave it drops about 30 degrees. The caves ranged from sizes big enough to stand in, to caves which we had to get down on our hands and knees to get through! When we went there was not that many people. We only encountered people in the first cave that we went through: The Dead End Cave. It's the most obvious one and is very family friendly. The other caves were a bit difficult to find; it helps a lot that Alex is actually a Geography major and knew how to work his GPS really well. All in all - it was a great experience, very fun. you kind of have to be in shape to do some of these caves because you need to be able to nimble up and down slopes and hills to get into the cave itself. Go out there and try it!
