  • Hola, Abcohende. Estoy de acuerdo contigo. Los son muy distintos del sentido (la carta y e-mail). El tiempo no perdona. ;-) Un saludo JMMM ------------- Hello, Abcohende. I agree with you. They are very different meaning (letter and e-mail). The time does not forgive. ;-) Greetings JMMM
  • Great video. I agree. But I think technology is a mixed blessing where making connections is concerned. Letters are more personal than email but with video technology and youtube making it so easy, not to mention video relay, I feel I can connect to people I've never met before because I can see their faces, hear their voices and most importantly watch them sign! But i do miss getting letters in the mail.

  • OH and I do keep many emails, in fact I need to go through my emails every now and then and remove those that are not very important. I am quite sentimental....

  • I totally agree with you! Whenever I get a letter in the mail it feels much more special. Someone took time to find paper, sometimes fancy kind or nice stationary, and had to take more time to write it out and put the stamp and send it. I wish I could take more time as well to send handwritten letters and cards, I do have quite a few I could send and some that are waiting to be sent..nice though and encouragement to do so. Smile.

  • Good point. I still kept my father's email since he passed away recently. He wrote a beautiful email filled with personal advices. I'm going to print it out and save it in case the website loses it!

  • Amen to that, great story, I agree with your theories, because my finance kept all of my cards, and my best friend from Maryland kept all of my letters. Honest with you I dont keep e mail, i throw them away. However I realize I kept few good letters that family or friends wrote to me during ole days. Wow, has high value of connections.

  • Love your vlogs. Yes I wd save ur ltrs, Amy. i still hv ltrs from pen pals fr jr h.s. We are losing intimacy at the expense of speed and technology.

  • Hi Amy! Love your vlogs and hot discussion on thought-provoking topics! :D

Yes I would save your lettters for sure. I still have letters saved from pen pals from junior high school! Guess i am a packrat! The digital age has definitely put a damper on handwriting. " Soon we will not need to use our hands to write. That will be a sad day as the unique signature of our individual handwritten words will be lost. :(
