Demo of the controversial new documentary about the reconstruction of the ancient city of Kashgar in Xinjiang, China. The Chinese government is in a race against time to reinforce this historic adobe town before the next major earthquake destroys it, causing the loss of thousands of lives and the peaceful Uyghur Muslims who live there. Filmed in High Definition on the Canon T2i DSLR camera. More info at http://www.kashgarfilm.com

  • that is not only the earthquake problem,it is our identity,Kashghar is Uyghur symbol that the CCP destroyed it, that is political destroy,

just one instance, even if they build a new mansion that mansion will be destroyed by earth quake,i believe that

  • Your point is well-taken, and this documentary addresses it. By the way, have you been to Kashgar? And have you listened to the people there, or only to protests by those who haven't taken an objective look at what's happening? Remember, there are two sides to every story!

  • @schlagerhansi You call others hypocrite for calling Islam peaceful, yet your message itself promotes Hatred. If you hate Muslims, that's fine. But don't be a hypocrite and talk about prayer, peace and harmony, when in fact, you hate Muslims so much that you would love to see the genocide of Muslims. I don't know what kind of god you claim to "Pray" to, that he would allow you to have so much hatred in your heart. If you're not an Evil person, than you should pray for Evil to end, Not people.

I'm not a hypocrite, for I admit frankly that I hate Islam, as I think it's the greatest evil on earth.

But I don't hate persons, so if I call for eradicating Islam, it has nothing to do with "genocide", as I don't think of any partiular race, or nation.

And I didn't say that afterwards, everybody would necessarily live in peace and harmony, but at least they COULD, i.e. it would become much easier without Islam.

  • Hypocrit liars, there are no "peaceful Muslims" anywhere in the world, and there is no ancient "Muslim culture" in Kashigarh, the ancient holy buddhist city of lights (that's what the name means). I pray that the Chinese will eradicate Islam in their country, as a first step to eradicate it from the face of the earth, then the world will be a better place, where all non-muslims can live in peace and harmony. I wish the Uigurs all the best, i.e. to be liberated from their evil Islam religion!

  • May the peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon the Sacred Muslims of China. I pray that the Chinese Government treats you well by renovating Kashgar. And I hope someday that Allah gives me the ability to travel there to Kashgar and have some of their good foods. Allahumma Ameen.
