I remember the first time I played this going through the intro, and I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not. But once this music kicked in, I was like, 'This is a Castlevania game.'.

Initially, I did not see what the big deal with this game was when I rented it. I came to appreciate it years later.

The music of this castlevania game is what makes the biggest impact for me. It's still not my favorite castlevania gameplay wise (too many concepts that aren't that useful, Dawn of Sorrow did it best imo)

But presentation-wise with the graphics and ESPECIALLY the awesome songs, this one wins hands down.

...its too bad that most of the 2nd half of the game has the SAME DARN SONG.
