::DIY finally done::

wanted NOS, but couldnt afford it so i put co2 (for a paintball gun) & a line out to my hood/bumper & one by the hood/winshield to mimic purged nitrous

HOW TO video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTx1HAsSi_A

**************TRY IT YOURSELF*************

Supplies
------------
1.) a co2 canister
2.) paintball gun adapter: ASA // on/off valves work best, but any adapter can do the trick
3.) macro hose line (i used 1/4" refrigerator hose i found @ home depot: $10 for 25' -- 25' should be enough for 3 or 4 different lines) i would recommend sturdy hose line that needs wire cutters or something to cut - co2 is freezing so if you use something like flimsy aquarium tubes, i imagine it would freeze em
4.) tie wraps

How To
----------
1.) find a place where your co2 can can rest w/out being a safety hazard - mine's between my seat/floor/door
2.) hose line: *dont cut yet* - just start by using the whole line & feed it through wherever it's gonna go before you cut (remember you can always cut more off, but if it's too short you gotta redo the whole thing)
mine goes from the adapter, to the trim on the floor next to the door, up the trim around my feet (by the hood popper), under trim & water seal so that the door doesnt close on it, through the top where the hood meets the door, then under the hood wherever it fits (w/out being melted) & out to the _________ (wherever you want)
3.) i used tie wraps to secure the hose line to various lines already there.

ill post a link for photobucket soon (once i upload them) for a visual aid

Purging
-----------
1.) screw on adapter to (full) co2 can. if it is not an on/off valve, screw it on almost all the way, then quickly twist (right) to activate the co2, then twist back to turn it off. on/off shouldn't really need explanation...

** some tips on gettin the most out of your co2 so you dont have to keep refilling it are to A) keep it in your freezer & B) when you use it, hold the tank upside down to get the most visible stream as possible. after your can warms up, which usually takes 15-20min, you wont see the co2, so it's a "do it anywhere that's 20min away from a freezer" kindof thing

  • @nsrailfann4life91 single Turbo. I just need an engine that takes ABUSE. My mom had a cavalier- engine blew, my friend had a "Sport" or whatever- tranny blew, gf had one- engine blew and tranny was already going bad... alll these cars had under 120,000 miles. My accord has 310,000 and running strong :)

  • @TheSchmiders Thats whats up. I have always liked the Supras. Especially the MK-IV Supras. Is the one he is gonna buy a 2JZ-GTE T-T?

  • @nsrailfann4life91 my bro victor was sporting a 1000 whp Evo 9 (big $) but sold it for his S15, RX7, and GSR. Hes doing proffesional drifting with his s15 Hes about to buy a Toyota Supra. Love it

  • @TheSchmiders Ahh I see. Here, all of our meets are at night. That is when the "Race Action" gets hot and money and pinks races go down. Yes, we even have pink slip races here. God forbid you bet your slip and lose and refuse to cough up your car. The winning racers team will flip shit if you refuse. The street racers here dont run in cliques, but actual teams; Deuces, K-Killas, G-Swift, High Grip, Ninja Built, Full Boost. I am in Deuces myself. The racing here is beast though.

  • @nsrailfann4life91 its kinda scary here, nobody drives around at night unless they mean some serious business. Mustangs are Tuner CANDY around here. i beat Slowbalt SS's ALL DAY just for kicks lol...

  • @TheSchmiders I know how that goes. Around here, the Cavalier group is rather small. It used to be huge before the damn Slobalts, I mean Cobalts came out. They have the shitty "Base Test" cEcotec that was originally going to go into a Cavalier SS Turbo Prototype that was never released for public market. They could be outperformed by your Integra if they took all of the boost off. trust me on that. Without the turbo or supercharger, they are piss slow. But it sounds like fun there.

  • @nsrailfann4life91 i live in the midwest... ig ive never seen a fast cavalier lol. Around here people use em for groceries or illegal immigrants put 9 foot spoilers and fart cans on em and try "RACING" my integra at every stop light just because my car has a carbon fiber hood... People mainly drive all Hondas, Evos, STI's and Infinities around here... the cavalier crowd just cant really keep up or fit in when everybody is pushing 300 on their 8psi DDs and over 600 on their projects.

  • @TheSchmiders Anyhow, respect, man, for not being a a complete dickweed and straight flaming. Nice to actually have a decent convo with someone. I wish you the best with your car builds and maybe we will bump into each other at a track or somethin. I pretty much travel the entire East Coast during the summer, so if you are in that vicinity, we are bound to meet lol. Take care, keep it real , and grab a beer.
