well still we have a choice right? i mean i did this event becasue i was raised in an environment where recycling was a must plastic bags were a nunu and so on XD, this event might have made some people happy maybe 1 hour wont save the world but it surely brought it together which for me was a wonderful thing i do get your point though we have to have some kidn of balance

even if you think that turning off your lights isn't saving energy do it anyway. Its not about wastefulness of electricity its about everyone coming together against climate change. By voting with our lightswitches

We must all help with preserving the environment. It is essential that people contribute in this fight against global warming - we can all make a difference by reducing our use of non-essential electricity thereby conserving energy.

It is not and it will not make much deference to whether or not we will shut off the lights for

an hour or two. What is important is that the we and the young generation are now conscious of our actions and conscious of the need to preserve our earth

i beleive that we should care about the environment i just dont like the people who take it too far like greenpeace who protest nuclear aircraft carriers Al Gore who thinks the world is going to end in 10 years if we dont stop consuming energe as much as we do now.

BTW, Al Gore's home in Tennessee uses 3 times more energy than a "normal" haousehold's
