More fun with magents.. All you need for this one is two magnets, a piece of copper wire and a AA battery. There are tons of configurations possible. I saw this on Youtube and thought I would give it a try

Can you post another video showing how you made it exactly? Are those magnets at the bottom?

Yes it is simply two "rare earth magnets" at the bottom.

yes they are two rare earth magnets at the bottom. Just wrap the copper wire around the magnets at the bottom and continue wrapping the copper around till you get to the top of the battery, then just bend the wire so it will support itself on top of the battery.. Give it a try.. there are dozens of variations you can do
