Catholic Nuns and motorcycle riders join forces to raise money for the children and their families at CHRISTUS Southwest Community Health Center in Houston. The Nun Run is a 50 mile police-escorted motorcycle ride from the Motherhouse of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word in Houston to Fisherman's Wharf in Galveston. The ride was initially started to raise money for a Christmas Party for the children. Today the funds not only provide presents for the children, but money vouchers for food for their families, books and school supplies, and school uniforms.
My wife and I ride in this event every year and I would happily put a hell of a lot more than my dignity in the toilet to be part of a cause that benefits unfortunate children!

Yes, it was for charity, true. But you put your dignity down the toilet to do it.
