unicondylar [half knee] replacement is a technically demanding and delicate surgery.the video shows the intricate secrets of a successful surgery.
the operation is not done by many surgeons hence its not advised to the patients.in India itself only 5-6 surgeons are using the implant.In north india ,only Orthonova Jalandhar has the choice of giving this option to its patients and we are Leading in whole of India.
Not fewer a times we had to change our decision to convert the surgery to unicondylar during the operation on a previously marked patient of Total knee replacement.For the benefit of the patient.
We have the instruments for uni ready for all the Total knees we do.
in the next part [2] ,we are presenting videos of patients with both sides unicondylar [same sitting],and the comparison of a total knee and a uni in a single person [also done in a single sitting - as the case required different options on either sides]
