I saw a video posted on classicmk of the world record run for mk2 (watch?v=oVIWlH112Aw). I KNEW I could beat it, however I didn't realize I'd beat it my first try :x I know majority of you wont believe that it was my first attempt, but I know it, and I'm stoked on it :D

*edit - this version of the video cuts off the final hit. Even if you add say another second to allow the hit to connect, it'll still easily beat the world record. According to youtube's video length standards, I'm pretty much at exactly 9 min...
NO CHEATS HACKS OR MACROS WERE USED TO DO THIS! I used wolfmame, recorded with inp, and for a controller I used a mas systems arcade controller.

@Guywholovesbakon I would have liked if you acknowledge the fact this was a first try speed run record. Have you ever even played mk2 single player? Let's see you beat it, let alone break a speed record, while not being cheap.

I bet you can't do this from the player 2 side. The AI uses
different patterns and you can't do that BS jump kick back
they will just jump straight up and knock you out. You
should post a video of you attempting a run from the 2P side.

If you were trying to beat a game's speed run time, would you try to do it the hardest, and slowest way possible? heh. Might as well be bitching at me for not beating the record with Liu Kang.
