  • I admire you for driving slowly, but there is nothing "scary" about Lookout Pass. I have been pulling doubles over to Missoula for 20 years, and there really is nothing to be scared about. Just a bit past where teh video ends is the rest area, then " Saltese" then De Borgia , then St Regis.. etc etc... Keep on trucking, truckers !!

  • question in not to be scared or not if we have speed limit for truck is not for notthing just think if you do a blow out on steer or someone lost control just in front of you or if trafic stop because somenone crash ahead and you down at 60 -70 mph you will be in shit

  • I've driven this pass many times. Just not in the winter. I don't drive in snow! It is beautiful with the snow there. Thanks for posting it!

  • wow this is beautiful!

  • I did this drive in the middle of the night during July. It was clear, full moon, and 3am. Let me tell you, it was the most awe inspiring moments I have had driving in my life. It was amazing.

  • I ripped through there at 75-80 mph with my car on my way to BC, WA and OR this summer... I love the scenery... we stopped at the lookout on the montana/idaho boundary.... its pretty cool cuz you really go uphill til you see the sign welcome to idaho then the speed limit drops to 60 for a bit then back to 75... the weather was so hot out like 90 degrees.... I am canadian too, i can tell you're french from the music, je comprend moi aussi

  • ...those damn guard rails let you know you are still breathing...LOL

  • nerve racking. I drove cross country three times, twice with my family and once with my dog. In October 2006, I got caught in a snowstorm at 1 am in Lookout Pass. I couldn't see the front of my car- I truly thought I was going to die- I called my wife and told her I loved her. I couldn't tell if I was on the road or not- I drove about 10 miles an hour until I started going to lower elevations and the snow stopped.... Beautiful country, but a little hairy! Nice film.

  • nice

  • Be careful out there. Keep the shiny side up and the greasy side down.
