Tom not wearing the suit is a slap in the face. We wait all this time to see that moment when he became Superman, and to see him basking in all his glory... was lost by the pathetic excuse for a C.G.I Superman. Budget be damned. Put the man in the suit for 5 seconds. You know what, C.G.I the freaking suit onto him. Let us SEE Clark there for 5 seconds, basking in the glory of Sol... before going to do his duty. Superman Returns was a bust... and they managed to get THAT part right...

One word EPIC!!! I loved the way clark took to the skies changing into the suit as he flew out of the fortress. The other scenes I enjoyed were when clark started floating and then flew straight at lionel who was possessed by darkseid.

I don't think it would have made much difference having him in the suit to be honest, it was more about the impact of Clark finally taking to the skies that made the episode truly epic. I was really pleased with the episode and the ten year wait was worth it in my eyes. It was a perfect end.
