I am looking at getting one of these and was wondering how loud it is in person with the baffle in?

Doesnt sound too sweet does it.....
-
get a power commander and you can run that pipe with out the baffle

I have the same bike and the same exhaust and don't have the flapping sound.. Also, My link pipe isn't THAT close to the swing arm.. I don't think you've quite installed it correctly.
With the baffle in it was a bit louder than stock but sounded nice.

I just bought the same pipe and have an 06 F4i. Mine didn't fit either. The midpipe is way too long. What did you do to get the correct pipe? Did you contact the manufacturer? I want to know if you ever got this resolved. Also did your mid pipe have a flange on it that mounted to nothing on the bike? I'm thinking scorpion must have had a problem with something.

I never got the correct pipe. I switched to a pipe from Viper. It's got a carbon fiber end cap, better fit and doesn't sound bad. The Scorpion midpipe did have a flange on it with a hole to mount to something. I think it is a bad fit for this bike. They were probably trying to make a system that would fit the most number of bikes.

Tortex, I turned that link pipe every direction and it is in the best possible place.
music, I can't force anything in there without seriously restricting the flow. I will take it out and mess with it though!
