  • the really flexible tip doesnt matter, its the braid on the reel thats most important to have and its that which will give you the best indication by feeling it with your finger as your pulling the lead. Rods with a really flexible tip are ok but not if you may need to use a large lead due to having to cast 100+ yards maybe. A rod with a good stiff action is better for casting and with the braid u can still feel exactly whats on the bottom. Anyway great vid.
