@Nerdicusable They have thousands of stores and PS2/Gamecube wasn't worth the space it was occupying in each and every store. (i.e. it had the lowest profit margin)

I think they should take games from other countries if they dont have region encodings, like psp games.

I know your post is old, but I was curious: Did corporate office allow individual stores the ability to buy and sale games -- imports & domestic, classic & new releases -- based solely on their discretion? If so, that could explain why the store you worked at bought and sold imports, and why others don't.

How was this guy a "dick?"
He was not rude, did not shout, and did not talk down to the person selling the games. All the Gamestop employee did was just state why he couldn't purchase the games.
I guess there are a lot more spoiled kids on the internet than I thought there were...

The guy had a serious attitude.
I start working at Gamestop tomorrow and can't wait to see people's reactions when they have a knowledgeable person who isn't rude and simply nice :)
