Fluval Edge Aquarium 2 months after set-up

This is a black Fluval Edge, 6 gallon aquarium. This one is set up at Pet World in Lawrence, KS. They set it up about two months ago and it has the orginal plants and fish in it. The plants are growing and doing very well under the two 15 watt Halogen bulbs. The Aquaclear filter provides incredible filtration that is much better than any filter I have ever seen on a small tank like this. I wanted to show a tank that has been set-up for awhile so you could see how well it does at keeping both fish and live plants.

Hey all- Watch soon for the video of the EDGE 2-- all new lighting systems and a new size. The 6 gallon now comes in White and has 21 LED bulbs, 3 of which are blue night lights. And then there is a new 12 gallon that is double the height and it has 42 LED bulbs. I will have a video up soon of these.

Has anyone had problems with their fish getting stuck against the suction? I have had to pull them off the suction with a net.

Hey, I have never had a single customer tell me this? What kind of fish? If this problem keeps up just reduce the flow rate of the filter. You can slow it to 50% and it will actually filter the tank even better due to the patented flow pattern of the filter.

On the first Look, its awesome but I saw this in a store and you can´t remove the top glass so its pretty annoying to setup and clean this tank.

Also not a good choice if you have a Betta or any kind of air breathing fish.

@shacks29 thats the point of the kit. That's why it looks so cool. And a betta could do fine as there is access to the air.

It took only half a minute then my betta found the opening. Further more some bettas are jumping out of a normal aqarium, they will not jump out of this.
