Matt Allen, 29 year old talent agent and Worst Ultimate Fighter Mexico MMA fight

In 1999, A young-ish Matt Allen went to Tijuana, Mexico to fight in a "no rules" martial arts tournament, in front of a crowd of thousands. It was broadcast on Combate Mortal as well.

Matt had limited fighting skills, was in so-so shape, and was a low-level agent for International Creative Management in Los Angeles at the time. He was supose to fight a Mexican kickboxer. Instead, at the last minute, his oppenent was changed to a talented Armenian from a family of fighters, Karo Parisyan. (now a top ufc competitor) Matt was in over his head.

The man in Matt's corner is former UFC non-champion, Joe "the ghetto man" Charles. Not kidding.

But despite the odds of a hairy, white collar, weekend warrior coming out of this fight without severe damage were very low, he entered that ring!

Later, this fight became the inspiration for Denver and Dallas in the movie "Four Christmases"

Funny thing is there's no fighter listed on sherdogs fight finder named matt allen and no mention in Karo Parysian's fight record of him fighting in Mexico or fighting anyone named matt allen.

Funnier thing is I rolled at the Hayastan gym and have personally rolled with Karo and that guy isn't Karo.

In 1999 Karo fought Brian Warren, Zach McKinney, Jason Rittgers, Scott Davis, Justin Bumphus, & Guido Jennings all in California.
