"What if" Battle time!

What happens if you take one of the greatest guerrilla commanders of Ancient times (Viriathus) and pit him against the Cleombrotus (the Spartan king who was defeated at Leuctra)?

I take the role of Viriathus in the first battle. My opponent (who shall remain anonymous) takes the role of Cleombrotus. Stay tuned for the follow-up match where I take command of Cleombrotus' Spartan army...

The spanish legion can be: Militia (Hastati) 1st line, Scutarii (Princep) 2nd line and Bull warriors (Triarii) 3rd line. The rest auxiliars like roman auxiliars, can be incredibly usely.

the principal tactic of spanish is the guerrilla, there are many lighte troops and heavi fast troops , but you need a forest to do this, and I use the scutarii like legionaries, the slingers like archers, and the militia like spearmen.

Balearic slingers were very deadly and famed for their accuracy.Historically the Greeks feared the Iberian cavalry.

@froggejn Yeah i managed to murder the hoplites a while back just that at very hard battle modes your units rout easily and flee :D but if your quick enough with equite's and general cav if you have him constant hammer and anvil should destroy them easily. Oh and the computer keeps its unit together constantly apart for its cav which Greek cav isn't that powerful 4 equites vs 4 greek cav equites win :D but thanks for advice.

Hey PoM have you heard of the author Conn Iggulden, and his books about the lives of Genghis Khan and Julius Caesar? I f so, have you read them? I've read about half of the first Genghis Khan book, and it was amazing. I think he also did a book about a gladiator or something as well.

Toothpick wars and bringing sexy back lol. Great battle Prince. Love the fact that you had so much patience, and waited for the perfect moment to attack instead of simply rushing in right away.
