Shootout between EeePC and a MacBook (C2D 1.83 ghz) from the first generation. On the MacBook runs 10.5.2 and on the Eee 10.4.9. The battle is not fair but i think the Eee does very well. Imagine this little notebook runs underclocked only at 630 mhz on Celeron M.

  • What is the point of this comparison ? To show that Normal laptop bootups faster then Asus EEE ?

  • The eee has an underclocked celeron m 633 MHz.

    The MB has dualcore 1.83Ghz.

Lets think about the speed again.......

  • The new Apple Mac's are a lot faster than EeePC, so... !?

  • The eee has only 633 Mhz! See also the other videos from me about the eee.

  • @campaingboy73 Not in the slightest. Of course a pentium will be slow today. You have clearly not used windows if you think mac makes it easier. It isn't hard to do in the first place. Like I said before, enjoy overpaying for absolutely no benfits, and feel free to comment back when you actually have an argument that makes some sense and has some backbone to it. Did you know macs are the easiest to hack into between macos, linux, and windows? Mac has no benefits, just higher price.

  • @rdasch3 its not that i have brain damage smart one. apple makes it EASIER to do all those things than windows. and pentium? a computer at my school is really slow and it has a pentium inside it. sure you'll save money, but MACS are the full experience to computers. even 10 yr old POWERMACS can be more useful than a PC today!

  • @campaingboy73

First of all, windows can do all of those things, and there are plenty of free virus protections for us to download. Second, if you really need a migration manager because your brain physically cant process how to do backups manually, you must have brain damage. Third, I build my own desktops. Pentium is one of intels oldest processors and it will put macs to shame. third, i72600k, gtx580 sli, asus board, 3 hard drives, one ssd. I bet I still payed less.

  • @rdasch3 youre wrong. smart one. macs offer WAAAAY more features than windows. time machine, migration assistant, INTEGRATED VIRUS PROTECTION, ILIFE BUILT IN, and WAAY more than your super slow pentium pc can offer.

  • @campaingboy73

Ok, enjoy throwing extra money at them for now reason. At least I actually know my computers and can back up my responses. Macs offer nothing better than Microsoft, yet they charge more. Build a computer, learn something about hardware, software, and networking, then get back at me.

  • @rdasch3 you dont get it, microsuck. all i learned from that is WINDOWS SUCKS. and i still have quite a lot of money left thank you very much.

  • @rdasch3 you dont get it, microsuck.

  • @campaingboy73

I hope you enjoy the stress of overpaying for your computers. I also hope since grade 5 you learned to not be an idiot and actually taught yourself something about computers.

  • Hey should have powered on the mac afterwards...when the EEEPC actually stated its boot sequence... i bet that would have given the MacBook some serious competition!

  • @rdasch3 microsoft sucks. i could have saved 2yrs of my life if it werent for the stress that i had with windows in grade 5!
