first, i love this

second, this it Ancestor (kalmah under a differant name, slightly differant line up)

third, this is its own song, not an early version of The Blind Leader or Kill the Idealist, they are all completely differant

while the Hellfire and the Blind Leader have some similar sounding riffs

ya, trust me i kno Ancestor. and i named it the 2 to reduce people arguing over the name cause ive seen it being called the hellfire and blind leader etc...AND if i had named this the hellfire i would get countless comments about "OMG ThiIS Is ThE BlInD LeAdEr Not HellFIreee!!!" btw, u wouldnt happen to have any Ancestor do you? looked for a while and coulndt find

@BodomBeachBrett I talked with Pekka at a backstage meet and greet and I couldn't help but ask him about this song. A summary of his words was this: Blind Leader is Blind Leader and Hellfire is Hellfire, Hellfire sounds nothing like Blind Leader. If you are mistaking Hellfire for an early version of Blind Leader then someone probably heard Hellfire, named it Blind Leader, then stuck it on the internet... If you found the demo with Hellfire on it, you'd realise that this is not the same song.

This is not called The Hellfire.

The Hellfire is an old Ancestor song that has nothing to do with this song.

Their new "genre" is called Symphonic Black Death Metal. But I must agree, Kalmah have and will always be an AWESOME band!!!

Kalmah is amazing. The first three albums explored a pure melodic metal, what melodeth was meant to be. Now they have shifted to a more death/thrash style, and they have yet to disappoint.

What is everyone talking about? All Kalmah to me is good, they're just exploring different elements like heavyness.

I like the name Hellfire better than the Blind Leader.
