This video is for educational purposes only, you shouldnt use it to steal a car as i'm pretty sure stealing is illegal :)
Update: For all users who start flaming saying that i didnt start the car: the power was going trough the ecu chip meaning that if i had broken the steering lock and if i had parked my car in a spot where i could push it until it start, it would start.
Also this is to warn other Vauxhall / Opel owners of this problem and to look for a workarround or protecting your car with an Alarm.

  • if your in australia, 50 cent coins are great for getting the starter cranking

  • The car is a '90-'93 Opel Corsa (Vauxhall Nova in the UK) and it DOES drive if you force the steering lock (easy!) and give it a bump...

But its less hassle just to pop off the ignition switch, vroom vroom

  • thts an old trick works on most older vauxhall/opels up to 1994 it wont start the car if its got an immobiliser tho, But respect where its due the guys right

  • and just for the record, if you're on youtube looking at how to engage an ignition on a ford van, you're ALREADY wasting your time.
