Been playing this game lately. I would have never been able to properly understand it in my younger years probably lol but now that I am older and have more experiene with SMT, Persona and other games in the series. This is pretty sweet.

Acrually Satan in a nice guy, the "Evil guy" here is both Lucifer and... God himself. YHVH is pretty much a complete duchebag thought the game and endings.
the thing is that most of the endings fo this game have a "Deep Web" meaning to them in relation to the story.

I used to just wander around getting into random battles just for the excellent battle theme. Then I found the Sword of Justice cover.

Bear in mind that one of the themes of the SMT series is that there is no true good or evil, too. It's all subjective depending on your own beliefs.

@atomicmanv3 True, but Kazuma Kaneko said his favorite myths are in the old testament. He said they seemed like they were the origin of all other myths.
And just like Evangelion, the Japanese mostly (i'm guessing) use religious symbols as styles in clothing, or that it looks cool.

@TalesOfGod XD I KNOW! i tried to explain this game to someone in class the other day but the whole killing god siding with god/lucifer etc. thing scares people.
The fact that this game theologically accurate in many ways scares people more.
