When I snip, I also use the PSG1. Good gun. Pretty good gameplay. Try using the extended mags. Less reloading. this lets you string together kills easier.

@ONEJKDubski Good call. I'm monkeying with the loadout. I think the bottom line is that I need a ton of practice though.

@PickMyPerk Fair enough. Ya i cant drag scope with the L96 any more just because ive gotten used to the PSG1. haha. Practice makes progress.

a good player is defined by: K/Ratio +2,0 AND at least a SPM rate of 270+.

if you camp/snipe ( which is the same ) you have a low SPM, if you run around like a headless chicken youll get some low K/D Ratio. it doesnt matter if you play objective games, bring the damn war to the other side and dont search for lame excuses how not to rush. if you wanna play tactical play Battlefield bad company 2 ( iam lvl 50 over there also ). if you play CoD -> MOVE YOUR ASS!

@virtualinsanity2k By effective do you mean that you rack up 30+ kills? Because in a traditional sniper role, I don't see how you could, so I would agree. But then again, in an objective based game, if you play a specific role the team benefits.

@PickMyPerk I hear ya. I snipe very often in TDM, but really limit my sniping in Domination to Array, Cracked, and maybe a couple of others. For me, I want a good sight on the B flag for sniping as that is what the fight is centered on. If I can protect that and pick off players flanking around, to me, that is effective.

this is so wrong. "running around " is not effective, RUSHING is very effective. if you dont bring the war to theire comfort zone, they will bring it to you so SNIPING is ALWAYS (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) lame!

camping/sniping is NEVER effective. search for macdaddy-v @ youtube and check out how it works.

@xSMOKEx20 I'm always conflicted by the role of a sniper in a round of domination. Ideally you would discourage the other team from capping a flag by picking them off. You're right that running around is much less effective.
