@maidenfer05 I think it was largely thanks to Cozy Powell's intense drum work. He makes the faster songs sound much more explosive when he plays his own interpretation of them. Cozy made every beat of the drum count. I've heard plenty of Rainbow covers but on none of them (including Dream Theater's cover of Stargazer) could the drumming match up to Cozy's. RIP.
