this is awesome. I cant wait to try this with my new rescue (i think he's part collie). he's probably about 4 months old now and ive taught him to sit, stay, come, lay down, and wait patiently when i put his food dish down until i give the release command.

Will try this with our 6 month old Staffie, he can already sit, wait, paw, high five, where's your ball (he goes and looks for it and finds it!) picks things up really quick

ya know the most pain in the arse dog teach tricks to is a huskie crossed with a pitbull. the clostest u get it to do is to speak unless it bites ur hand off

i taught my dog roll over about 4 months ago, it took her 2 days to learn it and she is still doing it now, (Millie's a shih tzu cross) she can also stay on command, lay on command and go on her hind legs on command.
Oh wow. You need help...

A lot of people are commenting that they would get bitten or lose a hand if they were to attempt this. In this case, you should be working with your dog to eliminate this. It's not safe to have a dog that snaps at your hand for a treat. You (and other people) should be able to walk right up to the dog and take the dogs food bowl while he is eating, take away a rawhide he is chewing, and have him completely desensitized to your hand in his feed bowl. You need to work on this before any tricks
