The Brava Christmas Party--Part 4 (Conclusion)

Paulina tells Jake about her talk with Sloane Wallace, but Jake isn't listening, and Paulina finally calls him out on it. When Jake asks if Sloane asked Paulina about him, Paulina tells Jake she can't believe how much of an egomaniac he is. Jake reminds her that if at least one of them doesn't have a job, it's bye-by, TV Land. Paulina says she's hired already. Jake tells Paulina that her mother is sitting pretty because she thinks she's brought someone in who won't have anything to do with Jake, but it ain't over 'til it's over.

Meanwhile, Sloane tells Rachel that she thinks Paulina is very nice, but that she's probably in over her head, and expresses interest in Jake. Rachel can't believe Jake has snowed Sloane already. Sloane says Jake's experience is perfect for the show and he has new ideas; what could be so bad? Rachel replies that Sloane doesn't want to know. When Iris approaches and asks what's going on, Rachel tells her that Jake has snowed Sloane already. Iris says that she thought Sloane, being from New York, would recognize a gutter rat when she sees one.

Jake and Paulina observe this exchange, and Jake says he couldn't have set this up better himself: Sloane is going to hire him and Rachel is going to spit nails. Then he kisses Paulina in celebration. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.
