@bradreed they are supposed to take Christianity seriously because if they don't there are consequences that are eternal. they won't understand this just like they don't understand the basics. so would you stop teaching them the basics because they also don't get it? YOUR actions should be a demonstration of the power of God and the ppl will see that. but since you live with a lack of that power YOU aren't helping
@Zoomerange there are many things not in the Bible that Jesus did that you aren't doing and many things in the Bible that you aren't doing so bite your tongue or be judged accordingly
@crazyjakeism you are forgetting the day of Pentecost in the book of Acts as it says "they were not drunk with wine but FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST." and they had to tell the ppl around them what was going on because all the spectators thought they were drunk. being sober is the act of not being drunken. this is not alcohol. being in the presence of God does amazing things to you
@photizo04 "God is an all-consuming fire" in the book of Acts it talks about the "fire of the Holy Ghost" and i love it when God consumes me like a fire because a fire literally consumes whatever is on fiire. have you heard the phrase "on fire for God" there is a passion that is like a fire inside
They passed their sons and daughters through the fire, and practiced divination and omen reading. They committed themselves to doing evil in the sight of the Lord and made him angry.
@crazyjakeism So the definition of divine supernatural experience is that it's quiet and still? If the people above love Jesus, pray to Jesus, want to have more of Jesus and want to be like Jesus, it's still a demonic supernatural experience if they shake? That's ridiculous! The Bible talks about the power of the Holy Spirit, that the building shook on Pentecost and that Paul couldn't stand up when he saw Jesus. Should we really expect that we won't react when God's power affects us?
It isn't found odd that the word "fire" is being chanted?

2 Kings 17:17

This is truly sick. I don't know why they want fire to rain - from memory the only time fire comes from High is to condemn.
