Around 8 am my father (kenny gamble) calls to tell me our building had been set on fire. Many years of memories and great music were made in that building and we will treasure every moment. R.I.P 309 We will miss you and what you stood for.

I am just now learning of the fire at PIR. I can't imagine why someone would do such a thing to a structure that has brought so much love into the lives of billions of people for so many years. From those of us who know what it's like to have an unreplacable iconic music structure in our community (Motown Records Museum), I wish you godspeed for the reconstruction to preserve the historic PIR & Cameo/Parkway.
