Watch full screen in 720p. This walks you through the process of configuring WPA2-EAP authentication to enable wireless encryption using your wireless access point. In this example, Windows Server 2008 R2's Network Policy And Access Services Server Role is configured as the RADIUS server. A Windows 7 computer acts as the client, and automatically authenticates to the protected network using the user and computer domain privileges. For more, check out the Microsoft Press 70-642 Training Kit (2nd edition), and visit http://www.vistaclues.com.

  • I thought the video was perfect. I wish I would have watched it before I set up my WPA2-Enterprise network. I use NPS for Wireless and VPN. This video would have saved me some time. So basically just saying for all those who wanted to see the AD and CA setup not mentioned on this video, maybe shouldnt be using WPA2-EAP untill they know how to setup AD and CA

  • @ironraiden Yes, you're exactly right. Certificates are covered by a different exam, and I made this video specifically for my 70-642 Microsoft Training Kit. But, if you want to fill in the parts I skimmed over, read the 70-640 Training Kit, as @IronRaiden suggests.

  • very useful if there could be some more about CA that will be great

  • @pacificdeath2000 This video is AFAIK, a replacement for people who don't actually have a WAP-EAP enabled AP and are reading through the Microsoft Press self-paced training kit for 70-642 exam (This is one of the exercises for said book).

AD CS, enrollment, etc. is more pertaining to the 70-640 exam, so that's probably why they "burned through" it, just as they barely mention it at all in the theory part of this lesson.

    Still very useful.

  • Like the video, not knocking it HOWEVER....

It's a bit fishy how you burned through the AD CS role without going through the process of enrollment or configuring certificate templates. That part is critical to the whole process. I used these tips for my class project with finals week coming soon and I have lost some of my hair and sanity by following these steps just to see numerous authentication errors for PEAP..
