@trash266001 Pedals I would think, while Adam Jones of Tool does use his volume control to change tone he will also use the distortion/clean channels of his amp (s) with a footswitch to change between clean and distorted quickly...Unless he has someone to do it for him like Matt Bellamy of Muse now does, but I think that's very unlikely.

Are they using pedals to go from clean to distorted? Or are they like Tool and just set the gain on the amps and use their volume knob/pedal?

@Eagle93A7X as far as i know they're zildjian oriental china's, different sizes is all. one of them may be an older z model(the larger one above the floor toms i believe)
