As usual, i was looking in the York Train Station Car Park, seeing if there was any nice Exotics or Sports Cars. There was indeed a Nice exotic. This lovely Prime exmple of a Pre-Facelift Jaguar XKR (the Old Model).

Finished in a lovely shade of silver, this was parked at the back of the Train Station Car Park. In the Summer months the car park is usually filled completely with cars but on this day, it was Nearly empty with just the odd Saloon.

At first i thought that this was just an ordinary Jaguar XK8 but i thought i'd take a look at it to see if it was a different model, a better model. It was of course a XKR. As the Jaguar Badge says, this is a Supercharged model. It's a 4.0 Litre, AJ26 Supercharged V8 under the Hood developing close to 400 BHP. The Top speed was electronically limited to 155MPH

Overall a pretty neat find. An Awesome Jaguar just desting to be as good as it's brother, the DB7. Enjoy

  • Great car, much better than it's successor. My favorite is 2001-2002 XKR (facelifted look, but still 4.0 V8). It's true they can eat DB7's for breakfast. XKR 4.0 V8 Supercharged with top speed limiter removed and a hint of a tailwind will be nudging 175mph. DB7 I6 will only do 157mph. Somehow XKR is not rival for DB7, but for DB7 Vantage. And of course you gonna ask - why pay nearly 4 times more for an Aston. It's not much faster, it has a lot worse interior and it didn't age as well as the Jag.

  • @ghettocodmaster555 Woah Nice :D Thanks. I Love the Old XK's. Urm no, i don't think anyone will be able to guess it haha
