Fairewinds Introduces a Japanese Language Edition and Identifies Safety Problems in all Reactors Designed Like Fukushima
http://vimeo.com/29294797
Gundersen expresses concerns that the nuclear industry and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission are not addressing major safety issues that have become evident since Fukushima. These issues include serious design flaws in the BWR Mark 1 containment, fundamental flaws in the Boiling Water Reactor vessel design, and problems with detonation shockwaves. The NRC and the nuclear industry are using a flawed cost benefit computer code that underestimates the value of human life and minimize property damages after an accident, which has the effect of justifying continued operation of reactors without safety modifications.

Also, Fairewinds announces the launch of the Japanese language version of its site, Fairewinds.jp.

sidenote: I edited out a couple of minutes to stay under the 15 minute upload mark. I do not have Any Strikes on my account, yet YouTube has taken the opportunity to not allow me uploads longer than 15 minutes. Hopefully, if you have the same issue with your channel, you can reupload this version to your channel too.

  • a brilliant explenation from Mr Arnie yet again many thx so is this the reason 2 GE engineers told GE in the ery 70s the designed was funtamaentally flawed GE replied we spend too much on the plant to stop now? n th two engineers resigned? yet GE made their billions n got away as all big mulrinationals always do? my hat off to them 2 brave engineers who put safety above personal Gain human life means FA to them leeches now japanese children n ppl will pay

  • @cyaard My apologies to Ms. Milky for swearing on her page. Sorry, Hon. To cyaard, this is a touchy subject for me. I have been busting tail since day ONE on my channel. NEVER do I do an update or an installment and NOT mention Ron Paul and Fukushima as an update. It has been an issue that I feel for all honesty is as bad as anything that we have ever faced as a planet. When you implied that I did not really care I sort of blew a gasket.

  • @cyaard What drug are you on??? I have donated money this asshole.

  • @cyaard What drug are you on??? I have donated money this asshole.

  • NO NUKES and NO FLUKES for all the generations to come in PEACE NOW.

  • Thank you!

  • @skybirdbird That should work but if not I think a piece of gum outta hold it.

  • @TheCorrectViews why aren't you sending some of your personal income to save some Japanese people? Oh right, then you coudln't make your car payments and buy nachos..

  • How can people NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO AND BE FURIOUS?

  • Here is what frustration is...I made a video called POSSIBLE CURES FOR FUKUSHIMA where I lay out how Japan can pay for ending this mess without bankrupting the nation, In my comment line is some science on HOW to shut it down. (my science was iffy in the video, I admit) I have emailed Mr. Gunderson AND Mr. Busby and can not contact them. We are really onto something here.
