He plays both. "Maggie" is played on a 12 string but this is and most stuff is 6.

@HiImCaysE When I saw him at the Soiled Dove Underground in Denver a few years ago, he was playing a 6 string and played this song so wonderfully. I even got to meet him after the show and he autographed a c/d 4 me and let my friend take a pic of he and I. I'm still stoked about that one!
