Members of the Coalition to Stop the BGE Rate Hike showed up at Baltimore's City Hall, on August 13, 2007. They were there to protest how the Baltimore City Council and Mayor Sheila Dixon have allegedly failed to stand up adquately to BGE. Sharing their views on that issue were activists Maria Allwine, Denise Lowery, Chris Bush, Nnamdi Lumumba and Ra Jawanza. Ms. Allwine, who is running for City Council President on the Green Party ticket, also sharply criticized the City Council's proposed sweetheart $33 million tax break deal with the developer, John Paterakis.
This woman needs to be in front of the Constellations Headquarters not BGE. I love seeing politicians misinformed. And 33 million wouldnt be nearly enough to buy BGE
