Last month (January 14) songwriters and musicians got together to tribute Bruce Springsteen's highly influential album, Nebraska, and the boss himself made a surprise visit. Mark Eitzel, Living Color's Vernon Reid, and Martha Wainwright were among those playing songs at the show, when Springsteen showed up for a version of Woody Guthrie's "Oklahoma Hills." After the performance the MC of the night asked the boss what he thought of the tribute and the performance of the tunes off Nebraska, and he joked that the musicians just got it wrong.
