@NETGURU2525 the reason sega was beaten by nintendo is simple - graphics. if you look at ports for the genesis ans the snes of games like mortal kombat or street fighter, the snes versions were always graphically suprior. kids back in those days didn't really care if one platform had better playability than the other, it all came down to graphics, so nintendo won out

Sega were and are a fantastic company. Their games always inspired me. They just made a lot of really bad choices. Invested in hardware they didn't get behind then didn't advertise properly. Nintendo are like Mcdonalds and Sega is like Burger King, I prefer sega but nintendo can market extremely well. I'm maybe one of the few who is actually glad sega now make games for nintendo as it means I can get all my favourites on the same console. Hell, I can get sega games on my pc!!

I don't think that ANY of the Consoles, made by SEGA. Were inferior.
I just think that They didn't get enough of the right People, to develop Games, for Them.
When the Genesis came out, it's only rival, worthy of being called a rival, was an 8-BIT NES.
So, what?
The 16-BIT Genesis, is inferior to an 8-BIT NES, how, exactly?

My wish is that fucking Genesis weren't so inferior. Maybe then they wouldn't have to be making games for Nintendo.
