I am in the process of rebuilding my Chevy Cummins I built 3 years ago bugger lift plan on making it Twin Turbo and a ton more goodies

@V8merc124 I have a 94 Chevy 4x4 1 ton. I put a 24V cummins in it and I didnt have to modify my chassis.......

@dieselfanaticIN People ask this alot... The big difference is if you can do the work yourself. You are going to need to know how to fabricate. Do you have a welder, plasma cutter, etc? I'm just shy of 7 grand doing the swap in my truck and I still need to do the exhaust, and I shopped around for a long time for alot of the parts, but I also splurged on the 6 speed transmission. I'd say it can be done between 5 and 10 grand depending on what stuff you want. Plus ~250 hours labor.

stick with the dodge .. the front diff is weak. U'll notice the has swapped a solid front axel under the front of this chevy.

i seen a 1/2 ton 1500 chevy single cab short bed with a cummins 6.7l at the san marcus river last week.i called him a idiot for putting stacks on a 1/2 ton gas rig.but the mutha fukker started it up and nothing but black smoke spewed from the stacks.im buying a 98 chevy i wanna put a cummins in
