  • Humbling the arrogant? Like you?

  • The guy is a dumb, sanctimonious prick, blah, blah, blah -- yeah I get it/agree.

That aside, Anna completely missed the point. She said, "How do you [universities] instruct people on morality" -- university is about thinking for ones self, not being instructed to think anything.

Moreover, Universities do provide, and have historically, a form for moral REASONING; reason being how any and all good morals are derived.

  • Can you tell me why ethics and morality are not the same thing? I think college can teach these thing. Are there better and worse ways of reduce suffering?

  • ok i hear what your saying, buti cannont take you seriously with those shades on bro :P lmao

  • Asian Hippie

  • lol hilarious guy. sitting in a messed up dormand playing a cool guy with that huge glases.

  • Fuck these relativist hippies. The only true understanding of morality comes from rigorous study of ethics which consists of: examination of the logic involved in the understanding of duty, and the determination of right from wrong. Great minds have worked on this subject for thousands of years to think your touchy feely new age bullshit is remotely as valuable as these real work derived from studying rational logic and empirical evidence you should just get out of universities and stay out.

  • Do they want Virginia Tech to happen again?

  • Morality are taught by parents when they were young.. and if they weren't.. well they are sort of a loss cause.

  • There's no such thing as right and wrong, but there is such a thing as good and bad. If you know the difference, then I think you'll be fine. Morality shouldn't be anything more than pragmatism and the maximization of liberty for all, not dogmatic spiels on virtue.

  • Stuff your faith, faith is the tool people use when they don't have any good reason to beleive something. You can have faith that people will eventually change, or you can beleive it can happen and go out and do something about it.

And hit the gym you look like a pipecleaner in shades, tit.
