This video demonstrates how to fix / adjust / repair the timing of the hook on a sewing machine. If the thread from your needle isn't getting caught by the hook that rotates around, this video explains what to adjust to fix that. Requires some very basic tools and takes 15-30 minutes - maybe less.

  • Hi. I have mini sewing FHSM 202 but the the needle can not pull out the thread from bobbin, I mean the thread does not hook up with that hole. Would you please help me? Thanks a lot.

  • @Diba1240 Unfortunately I'm not sure what could be causing that. If you send a picture or video, maybe we can take a look and figure it out. Best of luck :)

  • Very clear video showing how the hook mechanism functions. Understanding this theory would work on most any model, you did a great job explaining without taking forever to get to the point.

  • You my dear are a life saver. I'm gonna work on fixing mine now!! Thanks!

  • Great video...the sewing machine I "plan" on repairing is not in my possession to make the necessary repair yet but I think this video gave me the information that I needed to manage it. Will post as soon as I can when done with repair. I had worked with the machine quite a bit before I saw this so do understand what this video is showing. Thanks and will get back to you soon.

  • @BREWSTER4700 did u fix the 247? I also have a 247 with the same problem though these machines appear too different to me...tips?

  • Awesome video! Thank you so much!

  • I would like to say THANKS for your video. It gave me some good insight into the problem with my wifes sewing machine and Norm Himebaughs comments gave the proper alignments...Thanks agin....
