You will not be able to access files directly from the Time Capsule. Your music will be backed up to the Time Capsule if its on a Mac. It will not interface with your windows XP machine other than as a router.

I'm planning to buy a Time Capsule 500GB. I want to use it for two computers. An iMac and a Windows XP PC. But I was wondering. If I store my music on the Time Capsule. Do I have to put the songs on my computer to listen them or can I also listen them when they're stored on the Time Capsule?

Its not bad so far..only had it for 12 hours or so. Took about 30 minutes to setup... and another couple hours to do the first Time Machine backup.
Major gripe... still no xbox 360 support and my wireless adapter on my tivo wont connect.
