American documentary film that explores the Special Period in Peacetime and its aftermath; the economic collapse and eventual recovery of Cuba following the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. Following the dramatic steps taken by both the Cuban government and citizens, its major themes include urban agriculture, energy dependence, and sustainability.

I visited family in Cuba, yes some might be hungry (just like in the US) but my cousins have a yard with turkeys, geese, chickens, ducks and other animals, we had the best Turkey Fricase I've ever had. There are other books written about this topic by other sources, I seriously doubt it is all a made up communist plot. They must send a lot of what they grow to other countries that's the only reason for the lack of food in Cuba. I don't see how else its possible.

CUBA CAN SURVIVE ANYTHING due to its very rich soil and environment.....Try doing this in the deserts of Iraq........I am a Cuban so I know.....In Cuba they have a saying : THROW A SEED IN ANY PART OF CUBA, AND IT WILL GROW.......
This video is communist propaganda BULLSHIT......Get real people.....The average Cuban citizen is FAMISHED......The ONLY true right of each Cuban is to a food rationing booklet known as LA LIBRETA.......Now watch the COMMUNIST PIGS reply to my comment with LIES..
