An edit from The Green Man made in 1956 and British comedy at its best. Written by Sidney Gilliat and starring the marvellous Alastair Sim; an actor that is much underrated IMHO who is a sheer joy to watch. It also features George Cole to whom Sim had become his mentor and an excellent supporting cast including Terry-Thomas, Dora Bryan and other well-known faces from British comedy of the 50s and 60s. The DVD is currently available and well worth purchasing or renting if you are a fan of British comedy.
