Errol Kerr discusses support from Jamaican Government

The Government of Jamaica is one of my biggest supporters. From the Prime Minister, the Minister of Sports, to the agencies: Sports Development Foundation, Jamaica Trade and Invest - they are really with me on this mission.

Skiing isn't one of the big sports in Jamaica, but the government is determined to develop sports for all, from the grassroots to the high performance level. And the support that I get in various ways really shows that commitment.

The Jamaican government has always been serious about sports as a way of developing the people and the country. And look at the result - Jamaica is at the centre of world sports. So when I put on my Jamaican jersey and see the black green and gold, I will draw inspiration from all we have achieved in sports and the support of my country to push me on.
