I think we all agree that it would be the best if he devorces and then emily and david can live happilly ever after :D

Yes, I think so too and he'll only bring her up if asked (most of the time).

I also agree with you- he is in a catch 22, especially now :(

I know right! Remember how miserable he looked in most of the 2008 Emmy pictures? Wow- what a difference from being with or around Emily to his actual wife (which I hate typing that word LOL :-P).

have you ever noticed when he is interviews with his wife he hardly smiles and is pretty quiet with emily he is always smiling and very excited and he doest seem like a shy man to me he seems like guy that is ok with him self and not afrid to show it! also he barely talks about his wife in interviews he only ever talks about his emily and his son.

I've noticed that too!

Plus he loves talking about her. He mentions things about her out of no where. Sometimes he just starts talking about her without being asked to! It's so natural.

He rarely mentions the wife and when he does, he doesn't sound too thrilled. I think it sounds forced.

There is a difference and to me is more alive around Emily. Heck, even just talking about her does the trick :D

i hear that too to me when he talks about his wife he talks out of respect for his marriage and because he seems to be a good man. i think hes stuck between a roc and a hard palce.
imagine if he wasnt married.

one other thing i see is when ever hes with his wife he barely smiles and when hes with emily he looks thrilled just to be in her presence.

To Mariskarox, I strongly disagree with you. In the recently released TV guide shoot video, Emily D looks like she is madly in love with him. What I mean she is not ACTING the way she looks at him. David looked uncomfortale and maybe a little shy. Maybe his wife was at the shoot LOL. It has been stated by both of them that they both know each others private secrets. You just do not discuss your secrets with just anybody. It has to be somone very special to you.
