No one might have seen Laila, Paru, shireen, and many other lovers of history,
but we witnessed Suraiya's pure love. Her sacrifice of her career and married
life for LOVE. She confined herself to lonely life with dejected heart , for, she
could not marry her lover Dev. There can not be any other better love story

SUPERB...!!! NO ONE COULD HAV SUNG MIRZA GHALIB LIKE SURAIYA...SHE LOOKS EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL...!!! WELL SHE WAZ IN LOVE WITH Dev Anand but her grand mother was against it therefore she gave up her career when she was at top, remained single & lived lonely all her life. PLS do upload other songs of this movie MIRZA GHALIB too...thnks.

She was beautiful as well as graceful! I heard that she was deeply in love with the Hollywood actor Gregory Peck and as he didn't marry her she remained single all her life!
